Seeing, training in from Warriors' Experience

Question:

D, thank you for writing. I am really happy to embark on this journey with you!

As you might guess, my last guidance from Théun has left me quite shaken up to say the least! So I have spent most of my time dealing with all the implications of the guidance. Nonetheless, I do have a few questions to get us started. I am not sure if they are good questions, but if they aren't, I am sure you will let me know and that I will learn to discern from good and not good questions!

I think the first question should be to ask you what does it mean, or what are the implications of being a trainee seer?

The second question is about detachment. I know without being detached I can never get "insights" into anything or anyone. For example: if I feel guilty, inferior, not competent, etc, then I cannot get into the "listening" mode at all.

I know if I could, I would be able to handle the situation much better, however I do not have enough speed to detach quickly enough before the situation is over. The next question is about responsibility. When I can "feel" people, I know I have an advantage. That advantage is kind of like having some sort of power over the person I felt. It is like I can see something inside them that they are not even aware themselves of. I think I have done reasonably well with this responsibility but it nonetheless troubles me. So I wonder if you also feel that responsibility and if you do, how do you handle it? The last thing, which is an experience I think might be worth mentioning, happened just few nights ago. I wanted to understand more clearly all that Théun has said and written to me in the last guidance. I was indulging in confusion and insecurity. So I thought of attempting to SEE what he was really trying to convey to me.

I was in bed ready to sleep and just relaxing. I set my intent on that and just let my thoughts go. I got really involved in the story of my thoughts and without really being asleep, but neither being awake, I ended up playing with an electrical outlet which had way too many electrical things plugged into it. As I tried to remove some of the plugged appliances, I got zapped. The zapping lasted for quite some time.

It felt like I was being trapped by the electrical current. A part of me was trying to get my hand out of there and another part was kind of enjoying this feeling.

I opened my eyes and I knew I had not been sleeping. During that experience, other people were present in the room where the electrical outlet was, but I can no longer remember clearly enough about them.

I have no clue if this experience happened by pure coincidence or because I had set my intent on trying to get some kind of "feeling” out of Théun. Thank you for everything!

P.S. I wonder where you are and what you are doing. I think I saw your name as one of the courses' participant.

Answer:

“I think the first question should be to ask you what does it mean, or what are the implications of being a trainee seer?”

To be a trainee seer means exactly what it says, you have a point of reference to start developing seer’s abilities and you are training them. It's as simple as that.

“The second question is about detachment.”

I have to assume that you are asking for my confirmation that what you stated is true, since you haven't actually verbalized a question. So yes, it is true that you will not be able to see much of anything whilst you are draining your personal power through indulgence. Speed is acquired by being wide awake to all of the little tensions around you. I believe that this is something that is natural to a seer. The way I experience speed is that it is more of an ANTICIPATION of something coming rather than a quick response to something unexpected. So by the time the wave comes you have already positioned yourself to roll with it.

“So I wonder if you also feel that responsibility and if you do, how do you handle it?”

Since I can see, I am constantly occupied with the tensions around me. What I spend a lot of time working on, especially lately, is developing skill-in-action. To be aware of the tensions comes quickly when one learns to see, but to learn to be of service takes a lot more hard work. Being of service requires knowledge of skill-in-action. What is troubling you is learning the difference between being of service and simply forcing your will upon someone. That difference is skill-in-action. It has only been through developing skill-in-action that I have started cultivating a sense of peace that I am meeting my responsibility.

“I have no clue if this experience happened by pure coincidence or because I had set my intent on trying to get some kind of "feeling” out of Theun.”

You really must start formulating your questions clearly. I am not going to go chasing butterflies with you! You have the answer to this question already, but you aren't listening to your heart. Or more precisely, you do not like what your heart is telling you.

With much warmth,
D

P.S. “I wonder where you are and what you are doing. I think I saw your name as one of the courses' participant.”

Yes, you should really see about attending one of Elizabeth's courses. You would love them and you can learn a great deal. :) I have been living in Switzerland as an engineer in the corporate world. Soon I will be going full bore into helping with the distribution of the lasers. So, to be continued...
